Steven the
Disabled Guy

Having a disability tremendously influences my life, and largely shapes my choice of work, my creative style, and even my sense of humor. Disability and its culture has connected me with exciting design clients. It is what led me to launch NBCUniversal’s MyAbilities NYC, where I advocate for authentic representation in television and film. It inspired Disability Seen, a concept that evaluated on-screen representation, and then The Squeaky Wheel, the first-ever satire website to focus on disability.

As a large part of my life and my work, I continue to seek opportunities to connect my creative skillset with my disability experience.
